| When I was only five and a half years old, my mother started to notice that I was more and more aware of the sin that was present in my life. Although she was a very young Christian at the time, my mother discerned that the Holy Spirit was beginning His convicting work on my heart. She went to a family friend who was a strong believer, and he explained Rev. 3:20 to me in the simplest terms possible. All that I knew was that my heart was dirty because of the wrong I had done. I wanted it to be clean, so I asked Jesus into my life to cleanse me from sin. Of course, at that very young age, I did not understand everything that I do now about my lost state and the depth of Christ's salvation. However, because of Christ's mercy, I was saved through simple child-like faith. I training now at the Crown College of the Bible so that I can give my life to proclaiming the gospel message of salvation in whatever manner or location that my Savior desires. |
