| When I was five years old, my mother had just given birth to my brother David. She nearly died because of complications. The Lord miraculously healed her. Yet the idea of death and eternity began to weigh heavily on my mind. Then on Wednesday night, 23 June, 1993, I came to the realization, after hearing a sermon by my father, that I was on my way to Hell, whether I was a pastor's child or not. That night I could not go to sleep. I ran and got my father and begged him to lead me to the Lord. I can remember vividly, bowing down beside my bed and praying, asking God to save me. After that moment in prayer, even though I was only five, I understand that a miracle had just taken place in my heart and life by my Heavenly Father. |
