How to pray for Europe and Asia
Europe
Pray for church planters in Europe to remain faithful, though new laws and regulations make it more diffi cult to witness door-to-door and distribute Christian literature. Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe. Fervently pray that God will send bold gospel preachers to each country in Europe. Pray for their protection as they preach the truth. Pray for the door of witness to remain open in the countries of the former Soviet Union; and for the fruitfulness of the missionaries currently serving there.
“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.” Luke 24:46-48
Asia
Pray for our Temple Baptist Church members who are currently ministering in the closed country of China. Our troops in Iraq need fervent prayer as they face danger each day. Pray that a great door would be open to the gospel in the countries of Asia, such as Afghanistan and Iraq that have recently been freed from tyrannical Islamic governments.
